Photo: Gemini, by Johfra Bosschart Our theme here is a great love that has the potential to turn into a great relationship, and viceversa.
A quality relationship has two Pillars, just like Boaz and Jachin, the legendary pillars of Solomon’s Temple, extrapolating it to an enduring temple of love:
Based on my research so far, conducted on various and multiple examples of such relationships that already stood the test of time, I identified the armature of such a “building”, a must-check list when evaluating the potential of a relationship with astrology. All points on the list are present in long-term quality romantic/marital - type relationships, in various degrees for each point, and having all of them prominent in synastry/composite actually qualifies for an astrological theoretical model of romantic relationships. This model describes the best identified relationships. Photo: Chian Tsun Hsiung I have identified 5 major aspects of long-termness in synastry, keeping in mind no thorough synastry analysis can be summarized in just a few elements, and that usually the solidity of a synastry comes at all levels and they are many. However, it seems these 5 factors are a common denominator in long-term happy and healthy relationships and they qualify as primary markers when we want to evaluate the potential for long-term based on the synastry. Here they are, in order of importance: 1. Mutual aspects to Saturn. 2. Trines. 3. Overlays to fixed houses and/or aspects from the other’s personal planets to fixed house rulers. 4. Midheaven (MC) involvement. 5. Juno and Vesta archetype match. Supermoon Eclipse for my location Major theme: the shadow of Earth (impulse for manifestation, what is fruit, but also what lies underneath, gestating in the ground)- Umbra - caused by the Sun (awareness, individuality, life force, promise of manifestation) momentarily "blinds" our old emotional patterns and needs - the Moon - and at the same time puts the Moon in a new "red light": our imperative true emotions and needs in relationships are resurfacing now.
Full Moons are relational anyway, and so is Priapus (perigee), "joining " the Moon astrologically, but this time, multiple markers are aligned to signal this focus on relationships: the Eclipse happens on Aries/Libra axis, with the Sun in Libra conjunct North Node and about to combust with Mercury retrograde on 30th September, receiving important outer energy connected with enlightenment, expansion, the pursuit of happiness. The Taurus (2nd) vs. Scorpio (8th) dance of polarities. Full body sensuality vs. internalized, emotionally consuming sensuality. Hedonism vs. Sex as a multi-dimensional experience. 2nd - our basic physical needs in sex, basic approach and sensuality, our body as a sexual object, for ourselves and the others (it was, in a way, defined as the house of...well pleasuring oneself), our libido - physical preferences when it comes to sex, perhaps some erogenous zones, perhaps some clues on our body type - the tangible sexual allure of our body, our "assets", our "talents" when it comes to sex - it's probably active in a simple affair where our sole purpose is physical pleasure - our sexual set of values One of the key factors identified in a really good synastry, either for romantic relationships or friendships/other significant relationships is the mutual completion of the geometric aspect patterns in synastry. After an intensive research, I consider pattern completion a major ingredient for a soulmate synastry. Here are the major geometric aspect patterns:

I love Cupido. I think the common astrological interpretation ( a superficial love/approach to love) is contaminated by puritanistic Christianity, which transformed Cupido in a symbol of temptation, empty lust and vice. The myth of Cupido is much more complex and the triad Eros-Cupido-Amor depicts the facets of the primordial god of love, the male version of the Great Goddess of Love (Ishtar Inanna Hathor Aphrodite Venus and their counterparts in other cultures) |
